Stem cells are significant in today's society. They have potential therapeutic uses (such as finding cures for diabetes,
brain diseases such as Parkinson's and it can find treatments for ailments such as cancer and Multiple sclerosis), ethical
concerns (such as issues of when humans are human and misuse), and there is scientific curiosity in knowing how these cells
change form (Stem Cell Research Foundation, 2006).
These cells can even help to decipher mysteries such as how cells store information and what triggers them to change.
What makes cell A become cell B is still a mystery, but is applicable in our daily life. To understand the myseries of stem
cells can allow us to unlock the mysteries of the biological world (National Institute of Health, 2006).
